To determine the correlation between Emotional Intelligence (EI) scores and academic scores and identify other factors that have a relationship with EI. ⋯ The study showed that EI competencies have a strong positive correlation with the academic performance of MHPE students. Hence, it emphasizes the need for including development of EI in the outcomes and curricula of the existing MHPE program.

Intrapelvic Kirschner wire Migration following Developmental Dysplasia of Hip Surgery and Laparoscopic Removal.
Salter innominate osteotomy remains the most commonly performed pelvic osteotomy for the Developmental Dysplasia of Hip in children after 18 months of age up to six years. Kirschner wire (K- wire) is used to fix the bone graft across the osteotomy site. ⋯ We present a case of a 2-year-old girl with Right sided Developmental Dysplasia of Hip who underwent Femoral shortening and Salter innominate osteotomy, presented three months later with intrapelvic migration of k-wire. Paediatric Surgery consult was obtained and K-wire was removed laparoscopically without any complications successfully.

To determine diagnostic accuracy of 18F-FDG PET - CT imaging in determining Bone marrow involvement in pediatric HL by taking bone marrow biopsy as standard. ⋯ Our findings support the idea that BMB should not be routinely conducted in all patients but rather can be reserved exclusively for patients with dubious 18F-FDG bone marrow findings, as this test has strong diagnostic potential for evaluating BMI involvement in HL.

To translate and validate the suicide risk scale for medical inpatients in the Urdu language. ⋯ The Urdu version of the suicide risk scale for medical inpatients was found to be a reliable and valid instrument for assessing suicide risk in medical inpatients in Pakistani culture.

To identify the most appropriate tools to measure functions of the brain that can be utilized in the clinical setups of developing countries. ⋯ The clinicians in developing countries can utilize the visual fields, pure tone audiometry, Mini-Mental State Exam, Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire, Romberg's test and Manual Muscle Testing for most efficient, feasible, accurate and cost-effective measurement of brain functions.
