To determine the effects of repetitive ipsilateral rotation on low back pain among the taxi drivers of right and left hand drive. ⋯ Static or less dynamic muscles are more prone to LBP due to lower endurance. Lack of exercising habit, work as a driver for more number of years, driving within city, more driving hours in a day, forward bending, lifting, no seat comfort, lack of awareness regarding ergonomics and lower satisfaction level of job were the main reasons of LBP.

Psycho-education of carers is a part of good mental health practice. Our objective was to translate and validate the English questionnaire "Assessment of Psycho-Education of Carers" (APEC) into Urdu (APEC-U), for use in Pakistan. ⋯ The Urdu questionnaire can adequately assess psycho-education of carers in psychiatric settings.

Non-specific low back pain (non-specific LBP) is common problem between office-work employees. This study aimed to evaluate the short-term impacts of Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy in the treatment of non-specific LBP symptoms as pain, back mobility, LBP disabilities, and Health-Related Quality of Life (HRQOL). ⋯ PEMT therapy may decrease pain, LBP disability, increase lumbar spine mobility, and improve HRQOL in middle-aged university's employees with nonspecific LBP.

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a significant public health issue worldwide due to the associated comorbidities. Recent studies have demonstrated a strong relationship between blood glucose levels and serum ferritin levels in patients with type 2 DM. The aim of the study was to investigate the association between Ferritin Levels and Inflammatory Markers on HbA1c in the Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients. ⋯ Our study results show a significant relationship between HbA1c levels and serum ferritin and CRP levels, suggesting that serum ferritin and CRP levels can be used as a routine screening tool for the early diagnosis of DM. However, further large-scale, prospective studies are needed to confirm these findings.
