To evaluate the curriculum for Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) programme based on World Federation of Medical Education (WFME) standards. ⋯ As per WFME standards the curriculum for DPT program needs improvements in student's assessments and their participation in program management, evaluation, mission statement and designing, along with facilitation in student's activities, organizations. Strengths of the curriculum were integration of behavioral and social sciences, readiness for postgraduate studies, institutional autonomy and academic freedom for the development and designing of curriculum, and the participation of other stakeholders.

To determine whether antibiotics are necessary for all minor wounds presenting to the Accident and Emergency Department at a tertiary care Centre in Pakistan. ⋯ A conservative approach to antibiotic prescription for minor trauma may be appropriate despite absence of strict asepsis during emergency wound care.

To evaluate the effect of diet therapy on primary dysmenorrhea in female university students. ⋯ Diet therapy was found to be effective in reducing pain in female university students with primary dysmenorrhea complaints.

To assess the clinical application of multicolor optical coherence tomography (OCT) using confocal scanning laser ophthalmoscopy (cSLO) in different retinal pathologies. ⋯ Multicolor OCT can provide information and figures far more authoritatively than the conventional CFP, which is highly affected by media opacities. To interpret Multicolor OCT ophthalmologists should be watchful with plenty of understanding.

Successful treatment of gonorrhea has always been jeopardized by the emergence of resistance to antibiotics recommended as first-line therapies. The present investigation was carried out to demonstrate the current status of antimicrobial susceptibility of N. gonorrhoeae with a special reference to azithromycin and ceftriaxone. ⋯ Our findings indicate moderate to the high resistance of N. gonorrhoeae to conventional antibiotics. It also showed moderate resistance to azithromycin and ceftriaxone, current dual therapy recommended by the WHO for the treatment of genital gonorrhea, which is alarming.
