Fournier's gangrene (FG) is a life-threatening, rapidly progressing acute necrotizing fasciitis of perianal, genitourinary and perineal areas. The most common isolated pathogens are E.coli, Streptococcus and Enterococcus in tissue and abscess cultures. However we present the first Rhizobium radiobacter FG in this case. ⋯ Rhizobium radiobacter was isolated from tissue and abscess cultures. After successful treatment patient was discharged posteroperative 18th day. The combination therapy of early and totally surgical debridement of necrotic tissues and appropriate antibiotic use are adequate to control Rhizobium radiobacter infection in FG.

To compare neonatal outcomes between Category-1 and Non-Category-1 Primary Emergency Cesarean Section. ⋯ In this study, fetal distress and non-progress of labor were the main indications for Category-1 and Non-Category-1 CS respectively. We did not find statistically significant association between indications of Em CS and neonatal outcomes. However further prospective studies are required to confirm this association.

Exercise therapy versus surgery for lumbar spinal stenosis: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
To compare the effectiveness of exercise therapy with surgery for lumbar spinal stenosis. ⋯ In brief, the current evidence demonstrated a trend that exercise therapy had a similar effect for lumbar spinal stenosis compared with decompressive laminectomies. However, for the small sample size and low methodology quality of the included trials, some rigorously designed and large-scaled RCTs need to be performed to confirm the conclusion.

Upper lip bite test (ULBT) is one of the various bedside tests used for prediction of difficult laryngoscopic intubation. However, its usefulness is not still very clear, and there is controversy regarding its accuracy. The aim of this systematic review was to determine the accuracy of the ULBT for predicting difficult airway including difficult laryngoscopy or difficult tracheal intubation. ⋯ It appears that ULBT is a useful bedside test for evaluation of patient airway before the general anesthesia.

This study aimed to describe inpatient clinical conditions at an advanced care facility in Saudi Arabia during the annual Hajj pilgrimage and to determine factors correlating with length of stay (LOS). ⋯ Most of admissions were referrals, and the main Hajj period witnessed the majority of admissions. The vast majority of inpatients eventually discharged in a stable condition. Determinants of the length of hospital stay were the mode of admission, admission period, admitting department, number of comorbidities and ICU admission.
