Lack of physical therapists has led to increment of self-managed rehabilitations in post-arthroscopic rotator cuff repair (ARCR) in the forms of booklets or leaflets. ⋯ Patients highly applauded this booklet, and they cherished the information and support it contained. Nevertheless, the re-enaction accuracy was not high, suggesting that the high level of acceptance does not guarantee full understanding of information sent to patients.

Public Willingness to Participate in COVID-19 Vaccine Clinical Trials: A Study from Jordan.
The development and production of novel vaccine to prevent COVID-19 is an international imperative to human lives. For that purpose, clinical trials have to be carried out as per international ethical standards. The current study was undertaken to examine the willingness to participate in COVID-19 vaccine clinical trials and to determine factors that might affect their decision to participate. ⋯ A good portion of Jordanians are positive regarding participation in clinical studies of COVID-19 vaccine. Educational level and previous participation in clinical studies were among the determinants of such willingness. In addition, fear and lack of time were among the barriers of participation.

Non-Adherence to Prescribed Antihypertensives in Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Healthcare Settings in Islamabad, Pakistan: A Cross-Sectional Study.
This study aimed to assess the prevalence and predictors of non-adherence to antihypertensive medication among patients with hypertension attending various healthcare settings in Islamabad, Pakistan. ⋯ The prevalence of non-adherence to antihypertensive medications was high in the study population and poor medication adherence could potentially explain poor blood pressure control. Evidence-based targeted interventions on both medication adherence and blood pressure control should be introduced and implemented for better treatment outcomes.

Patients' Preference for Long-Acting Injectable versus Oral Antipsychotics in Schizophrenia: Results from the Patient-Reported Medication Preference Questionnaire.
Understanding patients' preferences for long-acting injectable (LAI) or oral antipsychotics (pills) could help reduce potential barriers to LAI use in schizophrenia. ⋯ Patients who preferred LAI antipsychotics prioritized self-empowerment and quality-of-life-related goals. When given the option, patients preferred less-frequent, quarterly injections over monthly injections and daily oral medications.

Experiences and Opinions of Patients and Their Relatives to Family Presence During Adult Resuscitation in Poland: Quantitative Research.
Scientific research and public opinion polls indicate that the majority of patients and their families believe that members of the patients' family should be offered the opportunity to be present during CPR, at the moment of their loved one's death, and throughout all aspects of emergency care. The study was designed to analyse the experiences and opinions of patients and family members towards Family Presence During Resuscitation (FPDR) in hospitals in Poland. ⋯ In our survey study, both patients and their family members had a negative attitude towards FPDR. Respondents (both patients and family members) had a low level of awareness that their potential to be present during CPR was included in the patient's rights.
