Willingness-to-Pay and Benefit-Cost Analysis of Botulinum Toxin for the Treatment of Rosacea in China: Findings from a Web-Based Survey.
Botulinum toxin (BTX) is a new treatment approach primarily aimed at relieving flushing and erythema for rosacea, but it is expensive and lacks economic benefit evaluation studies.This study aimed to investigate willingness-to-pay (WTP) of BTX treatment and conduct benefit-cost analysis (BCA) to assess if BTX treatment for rosacea is recommendable from a viewpoint of economics in China. ⋯ For rosacea patients with poor quality of life, and those with high visiting frequency, BTX should be regarded as a recommendable new treatment in China.

Cost-Utility Analysis of a Medication Adherence Management Service Alongside a Cluster Randomized Control Trial in Community Pharmacy.
It is necessary to determine the cost utility of adherence interventions in chronic diseases due to humanistic and economic burden of non-adherence. ⋯ The medication adherence management service resulted in an improvement in the quality of life of the population with chronic disease, with similar costs compared to usual care. The service is cost-effective.

Prevalence and Influencing Factors of Medical Dissatisfaction Experiences in Chinese Hospitals: A Cross-Sectional Study.
To explore the influencing factors of medical dissatisfaction experiences from the perspectives of patients, and provide corresponding strategies for its prevention. ⋯ Health education and media reports and social relationships, as antecedent variables, have an indirect effect on inducing the medical dissatisfaction experiences of patients. In addition, patients' social recognition was an intermediate variable in inducing the medical dissatisfaction of patients.

Is E-Version Transition of the Medication Adherence Scale Feasible for CKD Management? A Pilot Study.
To transfer a paper-version Chinese and Western medication adherence scale for CKD into an electronic scale, and evaluate its validity, internal consistency and clinical implementation, and assess whether the transition is feasible in clinic. ⋯ The e-version Chinese and Western medication adherence scales have undesirable construct validity and internal consistency. Thus, caution is needed in transitioning the paper-version scale into an e-version.

The Effect of Social Support on Treatment Adherence in Hypertension in China.
Treatment nonadherence is a major problem in the management of hypertension. There are many factors influencing the treatment adherence of hypertensive patients. The aim of this study was to examine the effect of social support on the treatment adherence in hypertension in China. ⋯ Treatment adherence of patients with hypertension was found to increase positively as their social support increased. In addition to the support given to patients from nuclear family members, other social support especially professional agencies and community organizations should also be promoted and strengthened.
