The Association Between the Prevalence, Medication Adherence and Control of Hypertension and the Prevalence of Mild Cognitive Impairment in Rural Northern China: A Cross-Sectional Study.
High blood pressure is one of the main modifiable risk factors for dementia. However, it remains unclear whether lowering the blood pressure effectively prevents cognitive impairment. Our objective was to explore the association between the prevalence, medication adherence and control of hypertension and mild cognitive impairment (MCI) among elderly individuals in northern China. ⋯ There is an association between the prevalence of hypertension, adherence to AHMs and MCI, suggesting that hypertensives should be screened for MCI to provide improved diagnoses and optimal therapeutics for cognitive decline prevention, especially in poor AHM adherence.

Immediate Postnatal Care Satisfaction and Associated Factors Among Postnatal Women in Public Health Facilities at Debre Markos Town, Northwest Ethiopia, 2021.
Immediate postnatal care (PNC) satisfaction is considered as the desired outcome of the health care system and determines the use of subsequent health care services. There is a paucity of evidence on the level of immediate PNC satisfaction in the study setting. Therefore, the aim of this study was to assess the level of immediate PNC satisfaction and associated factors among women who gave birth in Debre Markos town public health institutions, northwest Ethiopia. ⋯ Women's satisfaction with immediate PNC was higher than the national achievements of targets for the client satisfaction. Therefore, health-care providers should encourage frequent ANC visits, friendly care, and companionship to increase the level of immediate PNC satisfaction.

Treatment Decision-Making in Metastatic Prostate Cancer: Perceptions of Locus of Control Among Patient, Caregiver, and Physician Triads.
Multiple treatments for metastatic prostate cancer have similar efficacy, leaving patients with complicated treatment choices. Shared decision-making can facilitate difficult treatment decisions, but the extent to which this is used for metastatic prostate cancer is unknown. We assessed patient, caregiver, and physician perceptions of decision locus of control (shared decision-making vs physician- or patient-directed decisions) and the degree of agreement between groups. ⋯ This study characterized metastatic prostate cancer patients', caregivers', and physicians' experiences and communication preferences for treatment decision-making. Patients and physicians had greater agreement in decision locus of control compared with caregivers, yet patient-physician agreement was minimal. Metastatic prostate cancer patients report being influenced by information about treatment efficacy and clear next steps, and a desire for patient-friendly language and an invitation to be as involved in decision making at their preferred level. Emphasizing these may increase agreement in decision locus of control between all participants in the decision-making process.

Finalization and Validation of Questionnaire and Algorithm of SPUR, a New Adherence Profiling Tool.
The SPUR (Social, Psychological, Usage and Rational) Adherence Profiling Tool is a recently developed adaptive instrument for assessing key patient-level drivers for non-adherence. This study describes the SPUR questionnaire's finalization and psychometric evaluation. ⋯ SPUR is a valid tool to evaluate the risk of non-adherence of patients, allowing effective intervention by providing insights into the respective individual reasons for lack of adherence.
