Electronic Smart Blister Packages to Monitor and Support Medication Adherence: A Usability Study.
An electronic version of the Dosepak® (EDP) which records date and time of dosing events has been developed to monitor adherence to medication packaged in blisters. This study aimed to evaluate its usability and acceptance and to monitor dose-taking adherence for optimal implementation in future clinical trials and practice. ⋯ EDP had good perceived usability, was well accepted, and differed significantly from other adherence measurement methods. This study provides input to further guide scale-up of the blister packages.

Relation Among Anxiety, Depression, Sleep Quality and Health-Related Quality of Life Among Patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus: Path Analysis.
This study aimed to examine the relationship between anxiety, depression, sleep quality and health-related quality of life among systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients in China. ⋯ The study model helps to explain the relation among anxiety, depression, sleep quality and health-related quality of life in patients with SLE. It also suggests that health care professionals should be aware of factors such as anxiety, sleep quality, number of SLE symptoms, and depression in their care for HRQoL of SLE patients.

Parental Acceptance of Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccination in Districts with High Prevalence of Cervical Cancer in West Java, Indonesia.
Cervical cancer is the second-highest cause of death in women with cancer, which is mostly caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) infection, specifically HPV 16 and 18. Next to Pap smear and visual inspection with acetic acid, HPV vaccination is highly recommended to support preventive measures. ⋯ Education level and health beliefs toward cervical cancer have significant correlation (p-value <0.05) with acceptance towards HPV vaccination.

Analysis of Related Factors of Coping Styles in Infertile Patients in Central China.
To investigate the psychosocial factors, including personality characteristics, coping style, social support and alexithymia of infertile patients, and explore the relevant factors regarding the medical coping style choice of infertile patients in central China. ⋯ Considering the association between the coping styles and psychosocial factors, it was recommended to formulate targeted intervention strategies based on these influencing factors to guide patients to adopt positive coping styles and achieve good outcomes.

Case ReportsPoor Compliance Causes Acute Rejection in Kidney Transplant Recipients During COVID-19 Pandemic: 2 Cases Report.
The COVID-19 pandemic has lasted for more than one year, which caused much trouble to the health management of kidney transplant recipients. Numerous patients cancelled their review appointment or even lost connection with doctors because of the great pressure medical system undergoing, strict travel restrictions, and the worries about COVID-19 infection risk. Herein, we introduce two kidney transplant recipients, a 33-year-old man and a 32-year-old man, who did not take the immunosuppressant drugs and did not go back to the hospital to do the renal function examination as the doctor's request. ⋯ The level of serum creatinine did not recover to the one before pandemic outbreak. These cases suggest that it is necessary to ensure that kidney transplant recipients follow the doctor's advice to take drugs and follow-up regularly to examine their renal function over pandemic period. Additionally, typical pulse steroid therapy may not that effective toward these patients.
