Factors Influencing the Choice of Automated Peritoneal Dialysis Treatment by Patients Receiving Home Peritoneal Dialysis.
This study was conducted to understand the influencing factors for home peritoneal dialysis patients choosing APD and to provide a scientific basis for improving the completion rate of APD treatment and the follow-up of peritoneal dialysis patients. ⋯ This study provides scientific evidence for improving APD treatment completion rates and improving patient quality of life.

Factors Associated with Self-Management of Peritoneal Dialysis Patients in Urumqi of Xinjiang of China: A Cross-Sectional Survey.
To explore the factors associated with self-management of Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) patients and methods of acquiring PD knowledge. ⋯ The study surveyed PD patients who have certain self-management ability. For patients with different education levels, different health education methods should be adopted to promote the improvement of patients' self-management ability. Furthermore, WeChat is essential for Chinese PD patients to obtain disease-related information.

Adherence to Self - Care Practice Among Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients Using the Theory of Planned Behavior and Health Belief Model at Comprehensive Specialized Hospitals of Amhara Region, Ethiopia: Mixed Method.
Diabetes mellitus is one of the major public health problems that requires appropriate self-care practices to reduce complications. The current study assessed adherence to self-care practices and associated factors using the theory of planned behavior and the health belief model among type 2 diabetes mellitus patients. ⋯ Less than half of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients had good adherence to self-care practices. This was more evident for patients who are members of a diabetes association, having a high wealth index, having a home glucometer, good behavioral control, good behavioral intentions, high perceived benefit, and poor perceived barriers. Appropriate intervention should be designed based on the aforementioned factors.

Factors Associated with Self-Regulatory Fatigue in Chinese Older Patients with Coronary Heart Disease: A Cross-Sectional Survey.
To identify important determinants of self-regulatory fatigue in older adults with coronary heart disease based on demographics, health literacy, and health empowerment factors. ⋯ Residence, monthly household income, hospitalized times of CHD since illness influence self-regulatory fatigue among coronary heart disease patients. Health literacy and health empowerment were independent predictors of self-regulatory among coronary heart disease patients.

Quality of Life and Associated Factors of HIV Patients Under Treatment with First Line Regimens in Public Hospitals in Amhara Region, North-West Ethiopia.
The availability of medication related to HIV treatment in the world is one of the substantial improvements for reaching USAID's 90-90 targets. Among the 90% of patients who have awareness about their disease, 90% are accessing their treatment and patients who received appropriate treatment have a suppressed viral load and improved CD4 cell count. Therefore, the main objective of the current study was to investigate the quality of life and associated factors of people living with HIV receiving first-line regimens at public hospitals in the Amhara region, Ethiopia. ⋯ This study indicates that certain covariates have been identified as statistically significant predictors of the study variable "quality of life" of HIV-positive people. The findings obtained in the current investigation can help policy-makers to revise the current directives. The result obtained in this study can also help health staff to conduct health-related education during the treatment of HIV patients.
