Medication Adherence and Its Associated Determinants in Older Adults with Type 2 Diabetes and Cardiovascular Comorbidities.
To evaluate medication adherence level and identify predictors of poor medication adherence in elderly patients with Cardiovascular (CVS) diseases and type 2 diabetes in Jordan. ⋯ This study indicated an inadequate level of adherence among patients with type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular comorbidities. This study revealed the necessity of implementing programs to help in raising the awareness among elderly patients with type 2 diabetes and CVDs of the importance of adherence to prescribed long-term medication regimens.

Predictors of Medical Care Delay or Avoidance Among Chinese Adults During the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Medical care delay or avoidance increases morbidity and mortality risk and is costly for the national healthcare system. The objective of this study was to identify factors associated with medical care delay or avoidance among Chinese adults during the COVID-19 pandemic. ⋯ This study has identified several factors affecting medical care delay or avoidance, some of which are amenable to policy changes. Policymakers can help improve the utilization of health facilities and patient health outcomes by implementing a series of reforms.

Influencing Factor Analysis of First-Choice Medical Institutions for Aging People in China.
This study aimed to analyze first-choice medical institutions for middle-aged and older adults in Fujian Province to promote the development of hierarchical diagnosis and treatment for them. ⋯ To realize high-quality hierarchical diagnosis and treatment and integrated health service system construction, it is important to improve the service capacity of primary medical institutions, increase the training of family doctors, implement the contract coverage of family doctors, optimize the allocation and geographical layout of primary medical institutions, ensure adequate income levels, and promote township hospital staff.
