Primary immunodeficiencies (PIDs), now known as inborn errors of immunity, are a group of inherited diseases caused by defects in the genes that control the immune response. Patients with PIDs have risks of developing a severe course and/or death in COVID-19. Passive immunization with long-acting monoclonal antibodies (MABs) to SARS-CoV-2 should be considered as pre-exposure prophylaxis in patients with PIDs. Tixagevimab/cilgavimab is a combination of MABs that bind to the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein. ⋯ The use of tixagevimab/cilgavimab in patients with PIDs is effective as pre-exposure prophylaxis and reduces the risk of severe COVID-19.

Dispensary observation of patients with coronary artery disease can significantly reduce the likelihood of cardiovascular complications onset. Active outpatient monitoring allows to correct the main risk factors for cardiovascular complications, to estimate the risk of unfavorable cardiovascular events onset and to identificate patients who will get benefit of coronary revascularization. The introduction of a comprehensive assessment of cardiovascular risk and the development of remote monitoring technologies will improve the long-term results of outpatient follow-up of patients with coronary artery disease at high cardiovascular risk.

Serious work is being carried out in the world in the field of combating antibiotic resistance: reducing the prescribing of antibiotics, banning the use of antibiotics as stimulators of animal growth, improving infection control. Antimicrobial resistance is systematically monitored not only in every medical center, but also at the national level. The collected data is successfully used to implement local and national recommendations on the optimal use of antibiotics.

[Pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of rebamipide. New possibilities of therapy: A review].
The MedLine database contains 570 publications, including 71 randomized clinical trials and 6 meta-analyses on the rebamipide molecule in 2022. Indications for the use of rebamipide are gastric ulcer, chronic gastritis with hyperacidityin the acute stage, erosive gastritis, prevention of damage to the gastrointestinal mucosa while taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, eradication of Helicobacter pylori. ⋯ The review article is about the main pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic characteristics of rebamipide. A detailed understanding of pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics allows for individual selection of therapy based on the characteristics of the patient's body - gender, age, comorbidities; choose the optimal route of administration and dosing regimen; predict adverse effects and drug interactions; be determined with new clinical indications.

To review the data about the efficacy of esophagus protective agent based on the fixed combination of hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulfate dissolved in the bioadhesive carrier (poloxamer 407) in the complex therapy of patients with erosive gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). ⋯ Combined therapy with PPI and Alfasoxx is significantly more effective than PPI monotherapy for the epithelialization of esophageal erosions in patients with erosive GERD.
