The retrospective analysis was performed of 26 patients (5 women and 21 men), mean age of 47.04 years, surgically treated for aortic dissecting aneurysm (ADA) at the Clinic of Cardiosurgery of the M. M. ⋯ The most common precipitating factor in development of ARI has been arterial hypotension (92.3%). In all patients including the patients treated by hemodialysis, it has come to complete recovery of renal function.

The findings obtained by ultrasound, CT and angiographic examinations of 75 patients with dissecting aortic aneurysms operated on at the M. M. ⋯ These findings were compared with the operative findings. On the basis of the analysis it has been concluded that the precision of the diagnosis obtained by angiography was 93%, by CT 74% and by ultrasound 69%.

[Secondary perforation of the colon in a patient with blast injury of the abdomen--case report].
The patient was admitted to the M. M. ⋯ Perforations of the cecum and distal part of the sigmoid were found. Based on the data about the time and type of injury sustained it has been concluded that secondary perforations of the colon after blast abdominal injury were present.
