Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter StudyAntenatal Corticosteroids for the Prevention of Respiratory Distress Syndrome in Premature Twins.
To estimate whether antenatal corticosteroids before 34 weeks of gestation are associated with reduced incidence of respiratory distress syndrome (RDS) and composite neonatal morbidity in preterm twins. ⋯ In this cohort of preterm twins, antenatal corticosteroid administration was not associated with a reduced incidence of RDS and composite neonatal morbidity.

To evaluate complications and safety of preconception low-dose aspirin in 1,228 U.S. women (2007-2011). ⋯ Although rare but serious complications resulting from low-dose aspirin cannot be ruled out, preconception low-dose aspirin appears to be well tolerated by women trying to conceive, women who become pregnant, and by their fetuses and neonates.
