In 2011 in France, all kidneys from patients with brain death and from living donors cannot meet the demand for renal transplants. Since 2006, sampling protocols kidneys from non-heart-beating donors (NHBD) are developed to increase the number of renal transplants. The objective was to describe the organization of a protocol NHBD in a non-university hospital. ⋯ The involvement of rescue, coordination, anesthesiologists and urologists, and the concentration of jobs in our center have helped to minimize response times NHBD in the protocol for maximum quality of kidneys taken with transplant rates and results are very encouraging.

Prostatitis is easily diagnosed but sometimes associated with PSA measurement. An increased PSA in an asymptomatic patient may be associated with antibiotic use to eliminate the inflammatory part and to confirm prostate biopsy. It seems interesting to confirm or infirm these attitudes with a systematic review of the literature ⋯ PSA is unnecessary in case of febrile urinary tract infection in men.

Vaginal prolapse surgery is at high risk of surgical site infections (SSI) because it's a "clean-contaminated surgery" and it's frequently associated with implantation of meshes. ⋯ In our study, SSIs rate in vaginal prolapse surgery was twice higher than classic gynecologic surgery. As the interest of using a surgical suture coated with triclosan to reduce SSI has not been demonstrated statistically, we can't recommend it.

Can the PFDI (Pelvic Floor Distress Inventory) or PFIQ (Pelvic Floor Impact Questionnaires) be used to predict outcome in pelvic reconstructive surgery?
To determine a syndrome score threshold on PFDI or PFIQ predictive of a significant improvement in post-operative functional results. ⋯ The intensity of symptoms before surgery may interfere as a predictive factor for outcome.
