Comparison of vasopressors for management of hypotension in high-risk caesarean section under neuraxial anesthesia: a systematic review and network meta-analysis.
Vasopressors are effective in managing perioperative hypotension in high-risk parturients undergoing Caesarean section (CS). Nevertheless, the optimal vasopressor for addressing hypotension induced by neuraxial anesthesia remains a subject of investigation. ⋯ Our findings suggest the potential advantages of phenylephrine for reducing hypotensive episodes in high-risk parturients undergoing CS. Noradrenalin may emerge as an alternative, particularly for women at high risk of caesarean delivery.

Postoperative delirium is a common neurological complication, especially in older patients undergoing surgery, which is closely related to the poor prognosis of patients. The objective was to investigate the effects of esketamine on postoperative delirium in patients with general anesthesia. ⋯ According to our meta-analysis, the use of esketamine during anesthesia induction significantly reduced the incidence of postoperative delirium in patients undergoing elective general anesthesia without increasing the incidence of postoperative adverse reactions.

To explore whether monitored anesthesia care is more beneficial to the outcome of transcatheter aortic valve implantation. ⋯ Monitored anesthesia care has an absolute advantage in patient survival and effectively shortens the length of hospitalization. In addition, it also reduces the risk of complications such as paravalvular leakage and stroke. Monitoring care under anesthesia plays a vital role during TAVI surgery, not only helping to ensure the smooth progress of the surgery and patient safety, but also promoting the patient's recovery and recovery.

Erector spinae plane block for laparoscopic surgeries: a systematic review and meta-analysis.
Erector spinae plane block (ESPB) is a novel analgesic technique that can reduce post-operative pain and postoperative opioid consumption in laparoscopic surgeries. ⋯ ESPB is an effective and safe analgesic technique for managing post-operative pain and opioid consumption in laparoscopic surgeries compared to placebo, reducing postoperative nausea or vomiting as well. Compared to other techniques, ESPB has a similar efficacy to QLB, except for the pain score at 24 h post-operation, but appears to be superior to TAPB as an analgesic technique in laparoscopic surgeries, with a similar safety profile.
