[Analysis of independent risk factor in patients with poor prognosis after liver transplantation].
To investigate the prognosis after orthotopic liver transplantation (OLT), and to elucidate the risk factors of poor prognosis in these patients. ⋯ AKI is an independent risk factor of poor prognosis after liver transplantation. Prevention of AKI may improve the survival rate of OLT patients.

[Influence of hydroxyethyl starch 130/0.4 on renal function of injured patients with acute renal failure after Wenchuan earthquake].
To retrospectively analyze the use of hydroxyethyl starch (HES) 130/0.4 in injured patients with acute renal failure (ARF) in Wenchuan earthquake, and its influence on the renal function. ⋯ No negative influence on the renal function imparted by HES 130/0.4 is found in critically ill traumatic patients with ARF.

Review Meta Analysis[Evaluation of efficacy of thymosin alpha1 in the treatment of sepsis: a systematic review].
To assess the effects of thymosin alpha1 to enhance immunity and on the prognosis of sepsis. ⋯ The current evidence shows that thymosin alpha1 improves the immuno-suppression and helps recovery of the patient from disease. However not enough evidence is found in decreasing the mortality. Further randomized controlled trials should include the dosage, duration of the treatment and timing of using thymosin alpha1.

[The vicissitude of pathogenic bacteria isolated from critically ill patients in an intensive care unit during a period of using antibiotics].
To observe the changing spectrum of the pathogenic bacteria during seven-day antibiotics targeted therapy in an intensive care unit (ICU). ⋯ New antibiotic resistant pathogenic bacteria appears after seven-day antibiotic-targeted therapy in ICU. The change of species of pathogenic bacteria is related to the duration and type of using antibiotic, and also the age and length of stay. The longer time of use and the more different types of antibiotic used, the older in age and the longer in length of stay, the change in species of pathogenic bacteria is more predominant. Monitoring the dynamic change of pathogenic bacteria, adjusting the antibiotic promptly and rational use of antibiotics are very important to decrease the change in species and antibiotic resistance of the bacteria.
