[A report of 463 in-hospital cardiopulmonary resuscitation based on the "Utstein Style"].
Assessment of outcomes and outcome-related factors of in-hospital cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) based on the "Utstein Style". ⋯ Prospective "Utstein Style" data collection for CPR is proved to be a valuable tool for the evaluation of management and outcome following in-hospital cardiopulmonary arrest, but the rate of survival for in-hospital resuscitation still seems to be too low. The further improvement of CPR outcome is necessary.

[The influence of anisodamine on cardiopulmonary resuscitation in rat].
To evaluate the influence of anisodamine (Ani) on restoration of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) rate in a randomized, blinded experimental study so as to explore a new treatment for CPR. ⋯ Administration of Epi plus Ani at the beginning of treatment for cardiac arrest could improve ROSC rate and resuscitation rate.

[Effect of intensive insulin treatment on cardiac myocytes of severely scalded rats].
To study the protective effect of intensive insulin treatment on cardiac myocytes of severely scalded rats. ⋯ Intensive insulin treatment possesses protective effect on cardiomyocytes after a severe burn, and it is related to its up-regulation of phosphorylation level of Akt in cardiomyocyte, thus inhibiting the damage to myocytes.

[Protective effect of ulinastatin on myocardium after cardiopulmonary resuscitation in rats].
To investigate the changes in serum creatine kinase isoenzyme (CK-MB) and cardiac troponin I (cTnI) levels and the ultrastructure of myocardium, and the effect of ulinastatin after cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in rats. ⋯ Ulinastatin could decrease serum levels of CK-MB and cTnI, and alleviate myocardial injury after CPR in rats.

Comparative Study[An experimental study on cardiopulmonary resuscitation by cardiac massage under diaphragmatic muscle for rabbit with cardiac arrest].
To compare the hemodynamic effect of standard-cardiopulmonary resuscitation (S-CPR) and of CPR by cardiac massage under the diaphragmatic muscle (D-CPR), and to evaluate the feasibility of D-CPR. ⋯ D-CPR can provide higher arterial pressure, cardiac output, rate of ROSC and survival rate in a short period than S-CPR can induce, so that D-CPR is superior to S-CPR.
