[Effects of ethyl pyruvate on cell-mediated immune function in rats with delayed resuscitation after burn injury].
To investigate the effects of ethyl pyruvate (EP) on cell-mediated immune function in rats with delayed resuscitation after burn injury, and its potential regulatory mechanism. ⋯ Treatment with EP could markedly elevate splenic T lymphocyte proliferation response and increase production of IL-2 following burn injury, thereby improving cell-mediated immunity in thermally injured rats with delayed resuscitation.

[Significance of hemodynamic changes and monitoring value of patients with severe hepatitis during perioperative orthotopic liver transplantation].
To observe the hemodynamic changes of the patients with severe hepatitis during orthotopic liver transplantation (OLT). ⋯ Remarkable changes in hemodynamics of patients with severe hepatitis during liver transplantation are found especially at the early phase of anhepatic and neo-hepatic, while CO maintained at a higher level, together with a complicated changes in SVRI. Monitoring hemodynamics during peri-operation has its value to prevent and manage cardiac insufficiency and low blood volume.

[Effects of moderate hypothermia on pancreatic injury and survival in rats with acute hemorrhagic necrotizing pancreatitis].
To investigate the effect of moderate hypothermia on pancreatic injury and survival of rats with acute hemorrhagic necrotizing pancreatitis (AHNP). ⋯ Moderate hypothermia applied after pancreatitis induction can provide protection against pancreatic injury, and increase survival in rats with AHNP. While the mechanism underlying this protection remains to be clarified, the findings of present study have implications for the possibility that hypothermia may be helpful as an adjunctive clinical therapy in acute pancreatitis.

[Analysis of prognosis assessment with acute physiology and chronic health evaluation III, multiple organ dysfunction score and sequential organ failure assessment for the postoperative patients in cardiovascular surgery].
To analyze the clinical significance of the prognosis assessment with acute physiology and chronic health evaluation III (APACHEIII), multiple organ dysfunction score (MODS) and sequential organ failure assessment (SOFA) for postoperative patients in cardiovascular surgery. ⋯ For the patients who have undergone cardiovascular operation, A0 could assess the prognosis fairly precisely, but MODS and SOFA assessment seem to be better than APACHE III. Individual Smax and kinetic DeltaS might be the most suitable indexes for cardiovascular surgery.
