[Myocardial infarction with non-obstructive coronary artery disease. Diagnostic value of intravascular imaging and cardiac resonance].
Myocardial infarction with non-obstructive coronary artery disease (MINOCA) is common. Cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) and intravascular imaging (IVI) may be useful for establishing its etiology. ⋯ Among patients with MINOCA, there was a predominance of female gender with low cardiovascular risk factor load. The multi-image assessment allowed greater precision for etiological diagnosis of MINOCA. Apical ballooning was not pathognomonic for stress cardiomyopathy. PD was associated with mortality.

[Cost-effectiveness of a diabetes detection program in childbearing women to prevent malformations].
In Chile, in the next 20 years there will be an average number of 537,100 women of childbearing age with type 2 diabetes (T2DM). Half of these women, not knowing their diagnosis of diabetes will become pregnant with elevated glycosylated hemoglobin levels, increasing to 25% the risk of having offspring with congenital malformations. ⋯ In the context of an increasing prevalence of diabetes in women of childbearing age, our results suggest that the early detection of diabetes in Chilean women between 15 and 49 years of age, should be cost-effective to avoid an increase in congenital malformations for the next 20 years.

SARS-CoV-2 pandemic generated a profound impact on people's health, emphasizing the relevance of healthy lifestyles. Recommendations on how to maintain adequate physical activity, diet, sleep and social connection have been issued. However, it is worth expanding our look to other possible elements related to lifestyles such as the relationship with technology, nature, pets and music. ⋯ To achieve changes, the values, beliefs, intentions, motivations, risk/benefit balances, capacity for self-regulation, previous history of changes and the person's sense of competence in relation to the possible changes that are being suggested, should be assessed. Individualized and contextualized suggestions that increase the intention of change should be made, avoiding confrontation and generalizations. Although there are still areas of uncertainty in this approach, particularly in relation to dosage and mechanisms of action, its development should be encouraged, given its great potential in terms of cost-effectiveness.

Case Reports[Management of chylous ascites and chylothorax. Report of one case].
Chylous Ascites (CA) and chylothorax (CTx) are associated with obstruction, disruption or insufficiency of the lymphatic system. We report a 68-year-old male, with a history of alcoholic cirrhosis, who had recurrent events of CTx and CA. ⋯ A transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) was successfully placed and pleural effusion subsided. This case shows that CA and CTx can be caused by portal hypertension and they may subside employing a multimodal management strategy.
