Case Reports[Association of COVID-19 and glomerulonephritis with ANCA and anti-glomerular basement membrane antibodies. Report of one case].
Renal involvement in COVID-19 infection is varied and worsens its outcome and prognosis. However, the association of COVID-19 infection with glomerulonephritis is exceptional. We report a 46-year-old woman with COVID-19 who had an acute kidney injury and ANCA associated glomerulonephritis two weeks after the onset of the disease. ⋯ Plasma anti GBM-Abs were negative. This case suggests that the presence of anti-GBM-Abs in the kidney, was temporally related to COVID-19 pulmonary damage. The absence of plasma antibodies is probably due to transient production and glomerular adsorption, but with unknown pathogenic role.

[Cardiovascular complications in COVID-19 patients admitted to intensive care units in Chilean hospitals].
Patients with a cardiovascular (CV) history may be at greater risk of becoming ill and die due to SARS-CoV-2. ⋯ Patients with a history of CV disease are at greater risk of suffering HF and ACS when hospitalized due to COVID-19. Arrhythmias, type 2 AMI, and arterial or venous thrombosis occur with the same frequency in patients with or without CV history, suggesting that these complications depend on inflammatory phenomena related to the infection.

Review[Analysis of mammograms performed in a public imaging center in Santiago, Metropolitan Region Chile 2008-2018].
