Application of spiral CT image 3D reconstruction in severe talar neck fracture.
To explore the application of the spiral computerized tomography (CT) image three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction technique associated with the conventional radiography in the diagnosis and treatment of severe talar neck fracture. ⋯ By using the multi-slice spiral CT image 3D reconstruction associated with radiography to diagnose and treat severe talar neck fractures, the accuracy of diagnosis can be improved obviously. Based on this technique, more consummate operational plan can be designed and performed so as to achieve a better therapeutic effect.

To evaluate the efficacy and significance of posterolateral fusion in preventing failure of short-segment stabilization for the treatment of thoracolumbar burst fractures. ⋯ Posterolateral fusion is an effective measure to prevent implant failure, and decrease loss of correction, posttraumatic kyphosis and neurological deficit during the treatment of thoracolumbar burst fractures. Short-segment fixation of thoracolumbar burst fractures without fusion obviously increases failure rate and it is not an optional procedure.

Treatment of displaced radial head fractures by internal fixation with absorbable pins.
To study the effect of internal fixation with absorbable pins on treatment of displaced radial head fractures. ⋯ Internal fixation with absorbable pins is an effective method in treating displaced radial head fractures. It can maintain the biomechanical stability of forearm, improve the elbow function and avoid second operation.
