Cardiovascular Outcomes and Rehospitalization Rates in Homeless Patients Admitted With Acute Myocardial Infarction.
To study the in-hospital outcomes and 30-day readmission data in homeless patients admitted with acute myocardial infarction (AMI). ⋯ Considerable differences in cardiovascular risk profile, in-hospital care, and rehospitalization rates were observed in the homeless compared with non-homeless cohort with AMI. Measures to remove the health care barriers and disparities are needed.

ReviewUpdate on Treatment of Clostridioides difficile Infection.
Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI) is the leading cause of health care-associated infections in the United States. The increasing incidence and recurrence rates of CDI together with its associated morbidity and mortality are great concerns. ⋯ Cited references were also used to identify relevant literature. This review focuses on the current standard of therapy and emerging therapies for CDI and summarizes the updated guidelines on treatment of CDI.
