Randomized Controlled Trial[Effects of parecoxib on morphine dosage in postoperative patient-controlled analgesia following thoracoscope-assisted thoracotomy].
To observe the effect of parecoxib on morphine dosage in patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) following thoracoscope-assisted thoracotomy. ⋯ The application of parecoxib may reduce the dosage of morphine in PCA following thoracoscope-assisted thoracotomy and results in good analgesic effect without affecting the patients respiratory function and sputum elimination.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Effect of the degree of muscle relaxation on motor-evoked potential elicited by transcranial electrical stimulation in spine surgery].
To study the effect of the degree of muscle relaxation on motor-evoked potential elicited by transcranial electrical stimulation in patients undergoing spine surgery. ⋯ T1 value between 10% and 15% is sufficient for MEP monitoring and allows the maintenance of good muscle relaxation during spine surgery.

Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative Study[Comparison of single intubating dose and continuous infusion of rocuronium in prolonged gynecologic laparoscopic surgery].
To compare the cardiorespiratory factors and surgical conditions during total intravenous anesthesia for prolonged laparoscopic pelvic surgery with or without supplemental muscle relaxants. ⋯ Pneumoperitoneum severely affects the cardiorespiratory parameters during laparoscopy, which can not be lessened by neuromuscular block agents. A single intubating dose of rocuronium can suffice the requirement of prolonged gynecologic laparoscopic surgery.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Preemptive analgesic effect of parecoxib sodium in patients undergoing laparoscopic colorectal surgery].
To investigate the preemptive analgesic efficiency of parecoxib in patients undergoing laparoscopic colorectal surgery. ⋯ Administration of 40 mg parecoxib sodium at anesthesia induction in the patients undergoing laparoscopic colorectal surgery can result in significant preemptive analgesia.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Effect of invasive and non-invasive positive pressure ventilation on plasma brain natriuretic peptide in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and severe respiratory failure].
To investigate the change in plasma brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and severe respiratory failure receiving invasive or non-invasive positive pressure ventilation. ⋯ Invasive ventilation produces better effect than non-invasive ventilation in the treatment of COPD with severe respiratory failure. Plasma concentrations of BNP has significant clinical value to evaluate the effect of mechanical ventilation.
