[Effects of inhaled LPS on inflammation and mucus hypersecretion in the airway of asthmatic mice].
To investigate the effects of LPS on inflammation and mucus hypersecretion in the airway of asthmatic mice. ⋯ OVA stimulates lymphocyte and eosinophil cells in the airway inflammation of asthmatic mice. Goblet cell metaplasia and airway mucus hypersecretion are obvious in asthmatic mice. Higher levels of airway inflammation and mucus hypersecretion in lung tissues can be found in mice inhaled LAS compared with those in the AST group. LAS may stimulate inflammatory mediators.

[The diagnostic value of serum beta-hydroxybutyrate in diabetic ketosis or diabetic ketoacidosis].
To determine the diagnostic value of serum beta-hydroxybutyrate (betaOHB) in diabetic ketosis or diabetic ketoacidosis. ⋯ Diabetic patients with a level or higher than 1 mmol/L serum betaOHB can accurately predict DK/DKA. Patients with a level or lower than 0.66 mmol/L serum betaOHB are unlikely to have DK/DKA.
