(a) To identify subgroups with unique psychoneurological symptom-cluster experience (depression, cognitive impairment, fatigue, sleep disturbance, and pain) and (b) to examine whether the selected demographic, clinical, psychological, and biological factors determine a symptom-cluster experience in cancer patients. ⋯ A large number of patients experience five psychoneurological symptoms simultaneously due to psychological stress. Interventions targeted to stress would be beneficial for those patients.

Men in follow up for prostate cancer represent the largest proportion of patients with the illness. In the United Kingdom, primary care is increasingly involved in caring for these patients. Little is known however regarding the factors that determine men's evaluation of their care and primary healthcare professionals' perceptions of the care they provide. This study aimed to investigate patient and primary care based health professionals' perspectives of what constitutes 'good care' for men with prostate cancer, including limiting or facilitating factors. ⋯ Treatments in prostate and other cancers continue to improve with corresponding increases in survival. To further develop and sustain the good care that patients require to help them cope with diagnosis, treatment and long term adjustment, investment in resources, training and innovative communication systems between patients, generalist and specialist services are required.

Evaluate how subgroups of older adults with distinct attentional function profiles differ on the severity of nine common symptoms and determine demographic and clinical characteristics and symptom severity scores associated with membership in the low and moderate attentional function classes. ⋯ Consistent with the hypothesis that an increased risk for persistent cognitive decline is likely related to a variety of physical and psychological factors, for six of the nine symptoms, a "dose response" effect was observed with higher symptom severity scores associated with a progressive decline in attentional function.

Care After Lymphoma (CALy) trial: A phase II pilot pragmatic randomised controlled trial of a nurse-led model of survivorship care.
Post-treatment follow-up for lymphoma potentially fails to address the supportive care needs of survivors. A nurse-led lymphoma survivorship model of care was developed and tested in a phase II pilot pragmatic randomised controlled trial (RCT). The intervention comprised three face-to-face appointments, delivery of tailored resources and an individualised survivorship care plan and treatment summary (SCPTS), shared with the general practitioner (GP). ⋯ The nurse-led lymphoma survivorship model of care may be a helpful intervention for lymphoma patients who had completed treatment. Survivors require individualised and tailored support and resources. A tailored SCPTS may promote survivor self-management and increase GP engagement.

The health effects of Baduanjin exercise (a type of Qigong exercise) in breast cancer survivors: A randomized, controlled, single-blinded trial.
This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of Baduanjin exercise, which is a traditional Chinese Qigong exercise, in breast cancer survivors to assess its efficacy for physical and psychological rehabilitation. ⋯ Our findings indicate that Baduanjin is an effective intervention for improving physical and psychological health outcomes among breast cancer survivors, which is worth recommending and implementing by oncology nurses for breast cancer survivors during their long rehabilitation journeys.
