To evaluate risk factors for early (<30 days) type I endoleak following thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR). ⋯ Risks for early type I endoleaks after TEVAR for aneurysm were landing zone 0-2, LSA coverage, large proximal neck and stent-graft diameters, excessive oversizing, and the use of the chimney technique.

Multicenter Study
Results From a Nationwide Registry on Scalloped Thoracic Stent-Grafts for Short Landing Zones.
To report the perioperative results and short-term follow-up of patients treated with scalloped thoracic stent-grafts. ⋯ The scalloped stent-graft appears to be a safe and relatively simple alternative for the treatment of thoracic aortic lesions with short landing zones. Larger patient series and long-term follow-up are required to confirm these early results.

To evaluate the short- and long-term outcomes of hybrid repair of the arch and proximal descending aorta in a single tertiary center for aortic disease. ⋯ Hybrid repair of the aortic arch and proximal descending thoracic aorta is technically feasible, with acceptable short-term mortality. There is a low rate of proximal landing zone reintervention when hybrid techniques are used to create an adequate proximal landing zone. Extra-anatomic bypass grafts have good long-term patency. Ongoing disease progression means that further distal aortic interventions are often necessary in patients with extensive disease.

Multicenter Study Clinical Trial
Twelve-Month Results From the MAJESTIC Trial of the Eluvia Paclitaxel-Eluting Stent for Treatment of Obstructive Femoropopliteal Disease.
To report the 12-month results of the MAJESTIC clinical study of the self-expanding Eluvia paclitaxel-eluting stent in the treatment of femoropopliteal lesions. ⋯ MAJESTIC results showed that patients whose femoropopliteal arteries were treated with the Eluvia drug-eluting stent sustained high patency and low MAE rates through 12 months.
