Review[Research Progress on Treating Acute Myeloid Leukemia by Midostaurin].
FLT3 gene mutations occurred in approximately 30% of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients, which is closely associated with the occurrence, development and poor prognosis of AML. The therapy targeting at FLT3 mutations might be a promising treatment for AML. Midostaurin can inhibit the activities of III receptor tyrosine kinase encoded by FLT3 gene, induce cell cycle arrest and has a apoptotic effect on primitive AML cells of FLT3 -mutant, FLT3 wild-type and the expression of FLT3 mutated receptor. In view of this, the association between FLT3 mutations and AML, and research advances and clinical applications of midostaurin on the treatment of AML especially for FLT3 mutated AML, are reviewed.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Effect of Immunotherapy of Dendritic Cells and Cytokine-Induced Killer Cells Combined with Chemotherapy on Secreting Function of T Lymphocytes in Patients with Multiple Myeloma].
To evaluate the treatment value of adoptive immunotherapy (dendritic cells and cytokine-induced killer cells, DC-CIK) combined with chemotherapy on patients with multiple myeloma (MM) and its effect on secreting function of T lymphocytes in MM patients. ⋯ DC-CIK combined with chemotherapy can be an effective and promising treatment for patients with MM, and it maybe strengthen the anti-tumor action of bodies by regulating the balance between Th1 and Th2 reaction.

[Establishment of Primary Adult MDS Nested Case-Control Study Cohort and Study of Risk Factors Associated with MDS Evolution to Leukemia].
To establish a nested case-control study cohort in myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) patients and investigate the clinical characteristics, WHO subtype and risk factors associated with MDS evolution to leukemia of this cohort. ⋯ A nested case-control study cohort of MDS patients is established. The clinical characteristics and WHO subtype of MDS patients in Chinese Shanghai are different from that in Western countries. The independent risk factors for MDS evolution are age, sex, WHO subtype, IPSS cytogenetic subgroup and bone marrow blast percentage.

[IDH1 Gene Mutation and Its Clinical Significance in patients with Acute Myeloid Leukemia].
To evaluate the incidence rate of IDH1 in acute myeloid leukemia and analyze its effect on clinical characteristics and prognosis. ⋯ The IDH1 mutation more easily occurr in older AML patients and mutations effect of IDH1 on clinical characteristics may represent a molecular marker for poor prognosis in AML.

[Role of Imbalance between Th17 Cells and Treg Cells in the Pathogenesis of Children with Henoch-Schonlein Purpura].
To explore the role of Th17 cells, CD4⁺ CD25⁺ regulatory Treg cells (Treg) and its transcription factor RORγt and FoxP3 in the pathogenesis of children with Henoch-Schonlein purpura (HSP) so as to provide a new strategy for treatment of children with Henoch-Schonlein purpura by regulating the balance of Th17 and Treg cells. ⋯ There are higher expression levels of Th17 cells, RORγt mRNA and IL-17A, and lower expression levels of Treg cells, FoxP3 mRNA of children with HSP in acute phase, which shows that Th17/Treg imbalance exists in children with HSP in acute phase. The levels of serum IL-6, TGF-β1 increase and the serum IL-2 decrease in children with HSP in acute phase, moreover, there are the positive correlations between the levels of Th17 cells and expression of IL-6, as well as the level of Treg cells and expression of IL-2 in children with HSP in acute phase.
