Multicenter StudyTwo Weeks Versus One Week of Maximal Patient-Intensivist Continuity for Adult Medical Intensive Care Patients: A Two-Center Target Trial Emulation.
To compare outcomes for 2 weeks vs. 1 week of maximal patient-intensivist continuity in the ICU. ⋯ Two weeks of maximal patient-intensivist continuity was not associated with differences in clinical outcomes compared with 1 week in two medical ICUs.

Multicenter StudyCombining PSMA-PET and PROMISE to re-define disease stage and risk in patients with prostate cancer: a multicentre retrospective study.
Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-PET was introduced into clinical practice in 2012 and has since transformed the staging of prostate cancer. Prostate Cancer Molecular Imaging Standardized Evaluation (PROMISE) criteria were proposed to standardise PSMA-PET reporting. We aimed to compare the prognostic value of PSMA-PET by PROMISE (PPP) stage with established clinical nomograms in a large prostate cancer dataset with follow-up data for overall survival. ⋯ Cancer Registry North-Rhine Westphalia.

To investigate the initial set of patient-reported outcomes (PROs) in the American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (NSQIP) and their associations with 30-day surgical outcomes. ⋯ Postoperative complications negatively affect multiple key dimensions of patients' health-related quality of life. PROs were well below national benchmarks for many patients, even among those without complications. Identifying solutions to improve PROs after surgery remains a tremendous quality improvement opportunity.

Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter Study
Collateral-based selection for endovascular treatment of acute ischaemic stroke in the late window (MR CLEAN-LATE): 2-year follow-up of a phase 3, multicentre, open-label, randomised controlled trial in the Netherlands.
The MR CLEAN-LATE trial provided evidence for the safety and efficacy of endovascular treatment for acute ischaemic stroke within the late window (after 6-24 h) in patients who were preselected based on the presence of collateral flow on CT angiography. We aimed to evaluate clinical outcomes 2 years after randomisation. ⋯ The Dutch Organization for Health Research and Health Innovation (ZonMW), Collaboration for New Treatments of Acute Stroke Consortium, Dutch Heart Foundation, Stryker, Medtronic, Cerenovus, Health Holland Top Sector Life Sciences & Health, and the Netherlands Brain Foundation.

Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter Study
Endovascular thrombectomy for acute ischaemic stroke with established large infarct (TENSION): 12-month outcomes of a multicentre, open-label, randomised trial.
Long-term data showing the benefits of endovascular thrombectomy for stroke with large infarct are scarce. The TENSION trial showed the safety and efficacy of endovascular thrombectomy in patients with ischaemic stroke and large infarct at 90 days. We aimed to investigate the safety and efficacy at 12 months of endovascular thrombectomy in patients who were enrolled in the TENSION trial. ⋯ European Union Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme.
