Symptomatic intracranial atherosclerotic disease (sICAD) is estimated to cause 10% of strokes annually in the United States. However, treatment remains a challenge with several different stenting options studied in the past with unfavorable results. ⋯ Patients treated with RO-ZES had a relatively low 30-day stroke and/or death rate compared with the S-PTAS group. Further large-scale prospective studies are warranted to evaluate the safety and efficacy of RO-ZES for the treatment of sICAD.

Morbidity and Mortality in Neonates with Symptomatic Congenital Lung Malformation.
Neonatal resection is the mainstay treatment of children presenting with symptomatic congenital lung malformation (CLM) at birth. The objective of this study was to evaluate risk factors for increased morbidity and mortality after neonatal CLM resection using a large multicenter database. ⋯ In this large multicenter study, ECMO use and mortality are relatively uncommon among neonates undergoing lung resection for a symptomatic CLM. However, postoperative morbidity remains high, particularly in those with cardiac structural disease.

Multicenter StudyBurn injury characteristics, referral pattern, treatment (costs), and outcome in burn patients admitted to a hospital with or without a specialized Burn Centre (BURN-Pro).
Data on the epidemiology, treatment, and outcome of burn patients treated at non-burn centre hospitals are not available. The primary aim was to compare the burn characteristics of patients admitted to a hospital with or without a specialized burn centre. ⋯ Both groups differed in patient, burn, and treatment characteristics. At 12 months, quality of life and scar quality were good in both groups. Significantly poorer scar quality scores were found in the burn centre group. This might be related to their larger burns and more frequent surgery. The organization of burn care in the Netherlands seems to work adequately. Patients are treated locally when possible and are transferred when necessary.

Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter Study
Trastuzumab deruxtecan versus treatment of physician's choice in patients with HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer (DESTINY-Breast02): a randomised, open-label, multicentre, phase 3 trial.
In the single-arm, phase 2 DESTINY-Breast01 trial, trastuzumab deruxtecan showed robust activity in patients with HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer who were refractory or resistant to trastuzumab emtansine; a population with scarce effective treatments. In DESTINY-Breast02, we aimed to compare the efficacy and safety of trastuzumab deruxtecan with treatment of physician's choice in this patient population. ⋯ Daiichi Sankyo and AstraZeneca.
