The function of Angipoietin-2 (Agn2) in osteosarcoma has not been fully explored and exists controversial. Therefore, we conducted a meta-analysis to investigate the role of Agn2 in the prognosis of osteosarcoma. In addition, bioinformatics analysis was carried out to reveal the mechanism and related pathways of Agn2 in osteosarcoma. ⋯ DOI 10.17605/OSF.IO/GWQ53.

In December 2019, the first case of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) associated with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 viral infection was described in Wuhan. Similar to SARS in 2003, COVID-19 also had a lasting impact. Approximately 76% of patients discharged after hospitalization for COVID-19 had neurological manifestations which could persist for 6 months, and some long-term consequences such as the gradual loss of lung function due to pulmonary interstitial fibrosis could have comprehensive effects on daily quality of life for people who were initially believed to have recovered from COVID-19. ⋯ CRD42021258711.

Endometriosis (EMs) affects about 10% of women of childbearing age. It is defined as functional endometrial tissue appearing in other parts of the uterine cavity, manifested by varying degrees of pelvic pain and pelvic mass, etc. Therefore, to improve the therapeutic effect of endometriosis, we must constantly explore new ways to treat the disease. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of the combined use of laparoscopy and traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of patients with EMs. ⋯ The results of this study will provide strong evidence for judging whether laparoscopy combined with traditional Chinese medicine decoction is an effective strategy for the treatment of patients with EMs.

Immunoadsorption treatment for dilated cardiomyopathy: A PRISMA-compliant systematic review and meta-analysis.
As one of the leading causes of heart failure, dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) is characterized by dysfunctional muscle contraction and enlarged ventricular chamber. Patients with DCM have been shown to respond well to immunoadsorption (IA) therapies. However, the efficacy and safety of IA treatment for DCM patients remained to be evaluated. ⋯ Results of this meta-analysis indicated that the IA treatment can improve the left ventricular ejection fraction, reduce left ventricular end diastolic diameter, and thus improve clinical outcome in DCM patients. However, further evidence are required to validate the relative safety of IA treatment. Multi-center, double blind studies should be conducted to elucidate the precise effect of IA treatment in DCM patients.

The effect of Helicobacter pylori (H pylori) eradication therapy in functional dyspepsia (FD) patients was inconsistent in previously published randomized controlled trials. Therefore, we performed a comprehensive protocol for systematic review and meta-analysis in order to assess whether H pylori eradication therapy benefits patients with FD. ⋯ 10.17605/OSF.IO/4EHRB.
