Secondary hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis associated with heat stroke: A case report and review of literature.
Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) is a syndrome with potentially fatal consequences that results from an excessive immune response caused by malfunctioning natural killer cells and cytotoxic T lymphocytes.
