Effect of nursing intervention based on continuity model on psychological stress state of patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
To explore the effect of nursing intervention based on continuity model on psychological stress state of patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). A total of 128 patients with RA in our hospital from January 2015 to January 2017 were selected and divided into 2 groups by random number table method, 64 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received nursing intervention based on continuity model. ⋯ After receiving nursing intervention, the psychological stress scores of somatizations, anxiety and depression of all patients were significantly lower than before nursing, and the above scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group (all P < .05). After nursing, the positive coping score, negative coping score and quality of life score of all patients were significantly higher than those before nursing, and the above scores of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group (all P < .05). Nursing intervention based on continuity model can promote the recovery of physical function, improve psychological stress and negative emotions, and improve the quality of life of patients with RA, which is worthy of clinical application.

The impact of wearing powered air purifying respirators or N95 masks on the olfactory function in healthcare workers: A randomized controlled trial.
With the Coronavirus disease 2019 epidemic, wearing a mask has become routine to prevent and control the virus's spread, especially for healthcare workers. However, the impact of long-term mask wear on the human body has not been adequately investigated. This study aimed to investigate whether Powered Air Purifying Respirators and N95 masks impact the olfaction in healthcare workers. ⋯ Wearing a mask affects the healthcare workers' olfaction, especially odor sensitivity. Healthcare workers have a higher olfactory threshold after long-term mask wear, whether wearing PAPRs or N95 masks.

The effect of ultrasound-guided acupotomy and Juanbi decoction on lumbar disc herniation: A randomized controlled trial.
Acupotomy as well as Juanbi decoction has been used in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation. However, there is no study on ultrasound-guided acupotomy combined with Juanbi decoction in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation. ⋯ Acupotomy aided by ultrasound combined with Juanbi Decoction significantly relieves lumbar pain and can improve lumbar function in patients with LDH, and the clinical efficacy lasts for about 6 months.

Safety and efficacy of etomidate in combination with oxycodone in painless gastroscopic procedures in the elderly: A prospective randomized controlled trial study.
Etomidate is often combined in rapid succession during induction of anesthesia. However, the effect of pretreatment with oxycodone on recovery of cognitive function and adverse effects has rarely been studied. We conducted a prospective randomized controlled trial to compare etomidate alone with etomidate combined with oxycodone in elderly patients undergoing painless gastroscopy. ⋯ Etomidate in combination with oxycodone for painless gastroscopic operation in the elderly is a safe and effective anesthetic strategy.
