Epicardial adipose tissue (EAT) is a kind of visceral adipose tissue with close proximity to coronary artery and myocardium, which can secrete cell factor, and influence the physiological function and pathophysiological process of myocardium and coronary artery. Clinical imaging diagnosis showed that the volume and thickness of EAT exists a certain relevance with coronary artery disease, but it lacked evidence of evidence-based medicine. The research on the implementation of this program will systematically evaluate the relationship of computed tomography (CT) quantitative EAT and coronary artery disease. ⋯ DOI 10.17605/OSF.IO/DVQNE.

Association between Helicobacter pylori infection and irritable bowel syndrome: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
In recent years, the incidence of IBS has gradually increased, and it is considered as one of the most common functional gastrointestinal diseases. However, the etiology of IBS is still unclear, and expectations are rising for more targeted treatments. Many clinical trials have explored the link between Helicobacter pylori (H pylori) and IBS, with different conclusions. Therefore, we conducted a meta-analysis to explore whether there is an association between H pylori and IBS, which is of great significance for targeted treatment of IBS. ⋯ Our study suggests that H pylori may have a positive effect on the development of IBS. Although the differences were not statistically significant, there were significant differences among subgroups of patients. Considering the limitations and heterogeneity, high quality studies are needed to further explore the effect of H pylori on the development of IBS.

Atherosclerosis is the pathological basis of many cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and its pathogenesis is complex. Recent studies revealed a significant role of gut microbiota in the onset and development of atherosclerosis. Traditional Chinese medicine has rich clinical experience and unique advantages in the treatment of atherosclerosis. A large number of studies have proved that traditional Chinese medicine has the functions of reducing blood lipid, regulating gut microbiota, and resisting inflammation. The aim of this systematic review is to observe the randomized controlled trial of traditional Chinese medicine in treating gut microbiota, so as to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of traditional Chinese medicine in treating atherosclerosis patients. ⋯ INPLASY2020110056.

Gynecological laparoscopic surgery is the main method to treat gynecological diseases, but postoperative gastrointestinal reactions are more common in patients. Auricular therapy, as a characteristic therapy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, can improve gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea and vomiting by stimulating the conduction of acupoints through the nervous system on internal organs, but there are studies questioning the efficacy of auricular therapy. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to prove the efficacy and safety of auricular therapy in promoting gastrointestinal function recovery after gynecological laparoscopic surgery, and to provide reference value for future clinical practice. ⋯ DOI 10.17605 / OSF.IO / ZSPGA.
