Multicenter StudyD-dimer and Death in Critically Ill Patients With Coronavirus Disease 2019.
Hypercoagulability may be a key mechanism for acute organ injury and death in patients with severe coronavirus disease 2019, but the relationship between elevated plasma levels of d-dimer, a biomarker of coagulation activation, and mortality has not been rigorously studied. We examined the independent association between d-dimer and death in critically ill patients with coronavirus disease 2019. ⋯ In a large multicenter cohort study of critically ill patients with coronavirus disease 2019, higher d-dimer levels were independently associated with a greater risk of death.

DNA and RNA Oxidative Damage and Mortality of Patients With COVID-19.
Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and ribonucleic acid (RNA) oxidative damage is associated with mortality of patients with different diseases. However, there are no data about DNA and RNA oxidative damage from coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients. Thus, the objective of this study was to explore DNA and RNA oxidative damage in surviving and non-surviving COVID-19 patients. ⋯ To our knowledge, this is the first study reporting on oxidative DNA and RNA damage in COVID-19 patients, and the main new finding was that serum OGS concentration was associated with mortality.

Multicenter Study Observational StudyInitial Findings From the North American COVID-19 Myocardial Infarction Registry.
The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has impacted many aspects of ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) care, including timely access to primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PPCI). ⋯ COVID+ patients with STEMI represent a high-risk group of patients with unique demographic and clinical characteristics. PPCI is feasible and remains the predominant reperfusion strategy, supporting current recommendations.

Multicenter StudyPrediction Models for the Clinical Severity of Patients With COVID-19 in Korea: Retrospective Multicenter Cohort Study.
Limited information is available about the present characteristics and dynamic clinical changes that occur in patients with COVID-19 during the early phase of the illness. ⋯ Our prediction models, along with the web-based nomogram, are expected to be useful for the assessment of the onset of severe and critical illness among patients with COVID-19 and triage patients upon hospital admission.

Neurological presentations of COVID-19: Findings from the Spanish Society of Neurology neuroCOVID-19 registry.
We report the findings from the Spanish Society of Neurology's NeuroCOVID-19 Registry. ⋯ The neurological manifestations of COVID-19 are diverse. Anosmia, myalgia, and headache occur earlier in the course of the disease. Altered mental status, neuromuscular symptoms, and stroke are associated with greater severity. COVID-19 must be incorporated into most clinical and radiological differential diagnoses. COVID-19 may cause persistent and disabling neurological symptoms.
