AbstractDehiscence of the bronchial stump, particularly following pneumonectomy, is one of the most serious complications in lung surgery. Various approaches to this problem have been tried. Two patients with postpneumonectomy bronchopleural fistula were treated successfully by using a pedicle of the greater omentum.
