    AbstractRetirement is a process that usually and fortunately happens just once in a doctor's lifetime. If the retiring doctor makes plans long before the retirement date and has good guidance from his or her advisors, then he or she will be financially secure and able to enjoy the postpractice years. This article discusses the importance of advisors and how to select one(s) that will lead you to a happy retirement.
