    AbstractPediatric sepsis is a worldwide public health issue because of its high mortality rate, which increases even more in low-income countries. In this article, we review the Latin American background, the burdens of pediatric sepsis in Latin America, and the Caribbean, as well as some strategies that could help improve the outcomes of sepsis in these regions from a public health view.Copyright © 2021 Wolters Kluwer Health, Inc.
