    PurposeWrite a letter to editors concerning: Comparison of cervical, thoracic, and lumbar vertebral bone quality scores for increased utility of bone mineral density screening by Razzouk et al. (Eur Spine J https://doi.org/10.1007/s00586-022-07484-5 , 2022). We try to compare the targeted article with a similar article to talk about cervical vertebral bone quality (VBQ).MethodsRead and compare the targeted article with a similar article.ResultsThe targeted article and the contrasting article had similar research designs and objectives, but they came to completely different conclusions. The ways of calculating cervical VBQ were different between them.ConclusionWe advised the targeted article's authors to try their research again in another way of calculation of cervical VBQ like the contrast article.© 2023.
