AbstractInternet is a mode of quick and more and more easily approachable communication. Its use as support of education allows an enrichment of the master-pupil relation by its availability, its interactivity and the multiplicity of its means. Medicine benefits particularly from these new means of virtual companionship. This review offers to characterize means and constraints of the use of Internet in medical education, and to illustrate these purposes by an example of site created for the teaching of ultrasound use in anaesthesia, intensive care and emergency.
