AbstractBloody coin is a dangerous game that is frequently played among children and is becoming increasingly widespread. In this article, we aimed to present a patient treated for a serious hand infection requiring hospitalization due to this game. A 13-year-old girl was consulted to our plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery clinic with a large erythema on the dorsum of her right hand. The patient was evaluated in favor of cellulitis and clinical improvement was achieved with intravenous antibiotherapy, absolute elevation, dressing and immobilization. Bloody coin is a dangerous game threatening the health of children in our country. Appropriate measures should be taken by health and education authorities.
