AbstractBivalvular infective endocarditis is a clinical presentation that is associated to a greater extent with adverse outcomes. The involvement of the intervalvular mitral-aortic fibrosa is a rare complication associated with high mortality rates, requiring high complexity surgery. We report a case of a young male presenting to the emergency department with bivalvular endocarditis and mitral-aortic intervalvular fibrosa involvement.
