AbstractModern views about occurrence, pathogenesis, and methods of diagnosis and surgical treatment of abdominal aorta aneurysm are adduced. Application of new highly informative diagnostic methods, an adequate anesthesiological support, differentiated methods of surgical intervention have permitted to reach marked progress in the treatment of patients with abdominal aorta aneurysm.
