    AbstractPostanesthesia nursing requires advanced assessment skills and prompt intervention by the nurse. This article discusses the cause, pathology, diagnosis, and management of postanesthesia cardiogenic and noncardiogenic pulmonary edema. An annotated bibliography is included as an additional clinical reference.
