AbstractDelirium is still one of the most common and distressing symptoms in palliative care patients. Causes and pathophysiology of this neuropsychiatric dysfunction are multifactorial. Recent studies indicate that the interaction of special triggers facilitates development of delirium. Some of them are reversible. This case report presents a reversible delirium in an advanced cancer patient and offers a list of possible delirogen medications. This list might be useful to prevent delirium, particularly in older people.
