AbstractThe evolution of the current recommendations for pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation have slowly evolved following the development of cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques for the adult patient. Anatomical and physiological differences along with the pathophysiology of pediatric cardiopulmonary arrest mandate special consideration when approaching pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
