AbstractA rare case of pneumomediastinum with subcutaneous emphysema complicating a bronchial foreign body is presented. The possible mechanisms are discussed. Although we could find no description of a similar case in the literature it is unlikely that such a complication of bronchial foreign body has not previously occurred.
