    AbstractThe Gerard W. Ostheimer lecture is delivered at the Society for Obstetric Anesthesia and Perinatology Annual Meeting. The lecture provides a comprehensive review of the previous year's literature in obstetric anesthesia, obstetrics, perinatology, and health services research relevant for obstetric anesthesiologists.
