    AbstractSpain is considered the healthiest nation in the world, due to lifepromoting aspects such as good diet, care facilities and a favourable family environment. However, although increased life expectancy is an indicator of development, it may have a negative impact on the other two variables of health service efficiency, namely health expenditure per capita and its relative weight in Gross Domestic Product.Copyright © 2020.
