AbstractA case of leiomyosarcoma of the inferior vena cava showed extension into the right atrium and the right ventricle. Chest roentgenograms, inferior vena cavogram and computed tomography suggested the correct diagnosis and established the extent of involvement. The tumour was successfully removed from the heart with subsequent significant symptomatic relief.
