Influencing factors of intrapartum fever after epidural labor analgesia.
The objective of this study was to investigate factors influencing intrapartum fever in parturients receiving epidural labor analgesia. ⋯ Timing of analgesia and amniotic fluid contamination are significant factors influencing intrapartum fever in parturients receiving epidural labor analgesia.

Thyroid surgery in children: a single-center experience of 20 years.
Thyroidectomy is a relatively uncommon procedure in pediatric patients. We aimed to review our 20-year experience of thyroid surgery. ⋯ Pediatric thyroidectomies are performed on a heterogeneous group of pediatric patients due to a diverse group of pathologies. A multidisciplinary approach is required for proper initial management and surgical strategy with decreased complication rate and event-free survival of these patients in experienced tertiary centers.

The aim of the study was to examine the relationship between social support, marital dissatisfaction, psychological factors, and health-promoting behaviors in pregnant women. ⋯ The present study suggests that stress, anxiety, depression, and marital disaffection are negatively associated with health-promoting lifestyle behaviors, while social support is positively associated with the adoption of health practices in pregnant women. Understanding the complex interplay between psychosocial factors and healthy behaviors is crucial to improving healthy behaviors in pregnant women.

Are smartphones a tool to cope with the fear of childbirth? The correlation between the fear of loss of connection and the fear of childbirth.
With the spread of smartphones, they have become an indispensable part of life, and nomophobia (No-Mobile-Phone Phobia) has emerged. ⋯ This study found that one in every five pregnant women was extremely nomophobic and had a clinical fear of childbirth and that nomophobia and the fear of childbirth were correlated at the clinical level. In this regard, women should prefer face-to-face communication rather than smartphones throughout the pregnancy period.

Is decreased volar tilt and radial length a sign of early rheumatoid arthritis?
The aim of our study was to evaluate the effect of anatomical measurements consisting of volar tilt, radial length, radial inclination, and ulnar variance obtained from X-ray radiography in predicting deformity in patients with rheumatoid arthritis and the power of these measurements in predicting rheumatoid arthritis in patients with nonspecific wrist pain. ⋯ Low volar tilt and radial length may be an early X-ray radiographic finding of rheumatoid arthritis and may provide additional diagnostic data in patients presenting with nonspecific wrist pain, especially for seronegative rheumatoid arthritis where diagnosis is difficult.
